Come out on Monday July 2nd at 7pm to watch Paris is Burning and But I’m a Cheerleader!!!

Paris is Burning is “A chronicle of New York’s drag scene in the 1980s, focusing on balls, voguing and the ambitions and dreams of those who gave the era its warmth and vitality.” The movie is rated R, for language and sexuality.

But I’m a Cheerleader is a movie about “Megan is an all-American girl. She’s a cheerleader, she has a boyfriend, etc. But she doesn’t like kissing her boyfriend very much. And she’s pretty touchy with her cheerleader friends. And she only has pictures of girls up in her locker. Her parents and friends conclude that she *must* be gay and send her off to “sexual redirection” school, full of admittedly homosexual misfits, where she can learn to how to be straight. Will Megan be turned around to successful heterosexuality, or will she succumb to her love for the beautiful Graham?” but

We will provide red beans and rice to share, please bring a dish (vegan preferred) to contribute to the meal.

Bring a dish to share, and come hang out and watch queer movies!

Come hang out and have a scary good time at the Wingnut. Bring a vegan dish to share if you can- fall/halloween themed.

Friday October 29th, at 7pm

We will be cooking up a big pot of Witch’s Stew. So if you want to bring a non-alcoholic beverage like apple cider or a dessert item like pumpkin pie that would be freaking awesome!

Also, we will all be listening to Mischief Brew! There will be rauckus dancing and silliness.

We will also be decorating and filling pinatas for the Really Really Free Market and the Southern Barton Heights Halloween Party. If you want to bring candy to help us fill the pinatas with that would be exceptionally helpful.
